Laura Napolitano
Founder/Editor of Books, Interrupted

I began writing poems and short stories when I was in 3rd grade and I have enjoyed writing ever since. My love of writing, primarily poetry, drove me to earn my B.A. in Communications from Temple University. I am a transplant to Vermont from Bucks County, PA, a beautiful suburb of Philadelphia. The Green Mountains have always been like a second home to me, as I spent summer vacations and Thanksgiving break visiting family there. My day job keeps me busy in the development office at Middlebury College.

Outside of work and blogging, I enjoy hiking, softball, snowshoeing, cooking, scrap-booking, journaling, passionate discussions with my book club Vermont Books ’n‘ Brews, and curling up with a good book while sipping coffee, tea, wine, or local Vermont craft beer.

In addition to book reviews, I draw inspiration from my love for cooking, geographical surroundings in New England, and from family, friends, and life experiences.
